Cellulite and Where it Develops

The condition of cellulite is most commonly found in women. Within some stage of their life more than 80 percent of women will have to deal with cellulite. Cellulite can occur in any woman once they have passed puberty, but it occurs mostly in women who are aging. When cellulite does occur it will normally appear in certain areas of the body. Cellulite happens when an individual’s body accumulates toxins and weak connective tissues which will cause fat tissues to be pushed against your skin in certain areas.

The first area of the body that cellulite will most likely occur is in the stomach. Cellulite lumps are commonly seen in the area of the body especially within the lower part of the stomach. It is usually caused by a disorder with food digestion. Women who have cellulite on their stomachs will usually also have problems with constipation or will suffer from a liver disorder or irritable bowels.

Another common place for cellulite to occur is in the neck. If cellulite does appear within the neck it is usually due to constant stress. The vertebrae will become misaligned which will cause the tissues to become inflamed all because of stress. When the tissue becomes inflamed it will cause you to retain fluid in that area which will lead to the formation of cellulite.

Mostly occurring in older women cellulite may also develop in the legs and the upper arms. The cause of it in these specific areas is due to their venous flow reducing. When the flow reduces it causes toxin and fluids to be retained in those areas which will cause cellulite to form.

The last common place that cellulite can be found in is the front of the thighs. Cellulite that is found in this area of the body is usually extremely hard and difficult to break apart. Cellulite in this area usually occurs within athletic individuals or people who do an excessive amount of leg exercises. Another reason that it may occur here is due to your blood flow being reduced which will reduce the amount of waste that is removed from your skin.
